Hope

This painting stands for the most impressive of all characteristics of man - his resilience. Like hardly any other being, man/woman manages to find a way out after almost every apocalypse in the direction of continuity.

It remains to be hoped that man will be able to keep it up, because the greatest of all threats to life is already at the door: the irreversible destruction of the environment and it is becoming more real every day.

Things are getting tight and it is time to get to work. The earth needs our help. It needs our united insight. We need to become one big person together, and as humanity protect and preserve the earth for life. This small, almost playful work is meant to be a positive impulse for the continuation of our wonderful, also so resilient earth. An earth that will soon have reached its limits. Only man can save it - if he wants to, he can. The question is, will he want to in time?
